ARCHIVIST
In preparation for our 10-year anniversary in 2022, The Underground Museum seeks a freelance archivist to collect and organize all documentation surrounding the museum's history thus far. This includes notebooks and correspondence written by our founder, Noah Davis, correspondence with artists and visitors, exhibition production documents, event photography and videos, and more. The archivist would also be responsible for designing and implementing the system, structure and location of The UM's official archive moving forward.

Previous professional archiving experience required. This is an independent contractor position. Health, retirement, and company benefits are not included.

Rate to be determined based on the agreed upon scale and length of our archiving project. Ideally, the archivist would work with us over the next two years, intermittently, as needed.

Immediate start date. 



CREW MEMBERS * FILM EVENTS 
The Underground Museum seeks tech-savvy folks with experience in audio-visual technical equipment to work on film events at the museum. Your primary task is to set up our custom surround-sound sytem and film projector, and oversee playback of films.

Previous experience with audio-visual technical equipment is required. This is an independent contractor position. Health, retirement, and company benefits are not included.

Rate is $300 per event.

There is no pre-set schedule for film events. Interested applicants will be added to our freelance roster and contacted when events occur.
